Electrical Service Upgrades and Panel Replacements
Upgrade your electrical service, replace an outdated panel, or add the capacity your property needs. We handle service and panel upgrades across Greater Vancouver with safe, code-compliant installations built for today’s electrical demands.
Scope of work
Six Things We Get Called For.
From aging panels to properties that have simply outgrown their existing electrical service, we assess what you have, determine what needs to change, and complete the upgrade properly.

Electrical Service Upgrades
Upgrade your existing electrical service to support increased power demands from renovations, new equipment, EV chargers, heat pumps, suites and other electrical additions.

Panel Replacements
Replace outdated, damaged or undersized electrical panels with a modern panel that provides reliable distribution and room for your current and future electrical needs.

100A to 200A Upgrades
Moving from a 100-amp to 200-amp service can provide the additional capacity needed for electrification, renovations and growing electrical loads.

Panel Capacity & Load Assessments
We assess your existing service, panel and electrical loads to determine whether an upgrade is required before adding major new equipment.

Subpanel Installations
Need additional circuits without replacing your entire main panel? We can install subpanels to safely expand available circuit capacity where appropriate.

Service & Meter Equipment
Service upgrades can involve more than the panel itself. We handle the electrical work required to update service equipment and coordinate the installation from the existing supply to the new panel.

What we do
Four Stages, In Order.
We handle the upgrade from the initial assessment through installation and final handover, so you know what is happening at every stage.
Stage 01
Site Assessment
We inspect the existing service, panel, meter equipment and electrical loads. We identify capacity limitations and determine what is required for the planned upgrade.
Stage 02
Scope & Planning
We confirm the required service size, panel configuration and installation scope. Any required coordination, permitting and inspection requirements are identified before work begins.
Stage 03
Service & Panel Upgrade
The existing equipment is safely removed or modified and the new service and panel equipment is installed, wired and labelled. We work carefully to keep the required power interruption as organized and efficient as possible.
Stage 04
Inspection & Hand Over
The completed installation is tested and prepared for inspection. Once complete, we walk you through the new panel and make sure the system is ready for reliable everyday use.
Common questions
Asked Before Most Quotes.
Not sure whether you actually need a service upgrade or just additional panel capacity? We can assess your existing system and recommend the appropriate scope based on the property and what you plan to add.
How do I know if I need an electrical service upgrade?
If you are adding major electrical loads such as an EV charger, heat pump, hot tub, suite or significant renovation, your existing service may not have enough capacity. A load assessment can determine whether an upgrade is necessary.
Do I need to replace my entire electrical panel?
Not always. It depends on the condition of the existing equipment, available breaker space and the electrical capacity you need. We assess the existing system before recommending a replacement.
How long will my power be off during the upgrade?
A service upgrade normally requires a planned power interruption while the existing equipment is changed over. The exact timing depends on the property and scope, and we plan the work in advance to minimize disruption.
Should I upgrade from 100 amps to 200 amps?
A 200-amp service can provide more capacity for properties adding larger electrical loads or planning future electrification. Whether you need it depends on your existing service and calculated electrical demand.
